2. What data we process and why
- Contact and bookings. When you call or write to us, we process the details you give us (e.g. name, phone number, email, booking time) to reply and handle your booking. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR.
- Online orders. We take orders through the Restaumatic system (the Skubacz ordering page), embedded on our “Order online” page. Order data (name, phone, delivery address, email, payment details) is processed to prepare and deliver your order and to issue accounting documents. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR.
- Statistics. With your consent we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the website. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
- Marketing. With your consent we use Google Ads to measure how our ads perform and to show them to people who have visited the website. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
- Map. The Google map on the website loads only after you consent, because Google may set its own cookies. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
- Google reviews. We display reviews that guests have published on Google (the author’s name or nickname and the review text). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in presenting reviews of the restaurant.
- Security and claims. Data may also be processed to keep the website secure and to establish, pursue or defend legal claims. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
3. Who we share data with
Data may be shared with companies that help us run the restaurant and the website: hosting and IT providers, Cloudflare (website protection and performance), Restaumatic (online ordering), payment operators within the ordering system and Google (Analytics, Ads, Maps), as well as our accounting office. Each of them processes data only as far as needed to provide its service.
Google may process data outside the European Economic Area. This is based on the European Commission’s adequacy decision (EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or standard contractual clauses.
4. How long we keep data
- contact and booking data: until the matter is closed, then until any claims become time-barred,
- order data and accounting documents: for the period required by tax law (usually 5 years from the end of the tax year),
- data processed on the basis of consent: until you withdraw it,
- cookies: for the periods described in section 6 or until you delete them in your browser.
5. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected, erased or restricted, to data portability, and to object to processing based on our legitimate interest. You can withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.
If you believe we process your data unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland.
Providing data is voluntary, but we cannot accept an order or a booking without it.
6. Cookies
Cookies are small files stored in your browser. On ginos.pl we use four groups:
- Necessary: remember your choices in the consent banner and keep the website working. No consent required.
- Statistics: Google Analytics (including
_ga, kept for up to 2 years). Only with consent. - Marketing: Google Ads (including
_gcl_au, kept for up to 90 days). Only with consent. - External content: Google Maps. The map loads only after you consent.
The “Order online” page shows the Restaumatic (Skubacz) ordering system in a frame. That system uses its own cookies and has its own consent banner, under its own privacy policy.
You can change your consent at any time via the Cookie settings link in the footer. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings.
7. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our tools or the law change. The current version is always available on this page, with the date of the last update at the top.
This is a translation. In case of any discrepancy, the Polish version prevails.
